Pazz and Jop ballot

Posted in Music by rickyfartin on January 22, 2011

My Pazz and Jop ballot I was talking about the other day is over here. Like I said before, it’s all wrong. Of all the stuff I heard last year, Kvelertak’s self-titled was probably my favorite, which isn’t mentioned anywhere on this thing.

After the jump is a clip from everything in that ballot except for the really obvious stuff. It’s a lot of YouTube, so it may make for some slow loading.

Kicking things off with perhaps the most phallic record cover of oh ten.

21st century “Thunderstruck.”

Pretty awesome video too.

This one’s in the same vein as the one above, but I hate myself a little bit for liking this one.

For some reason this version doesn’t end with the heavy riff outro that’s on the 10″ split with Torche.

Awesome song with a stupid video.
